Activity Center

The recreation program with the Activity Center is carried out after class hours and on weekends and holidays.

Activities Offered:

  •  Cultural Events
  •  Physical Education
  •  Sports
  •  Arts and Crafts
  •  Community Activities
  •  Movies, Live Shows, and Special Events
  •  Committee/Club Activities

Activities Information:

Sports Related Activities
Enhance the student's awareness of short and long term benefits of physical fitness for lifetime leisure skills.
Cultural Activities/Events
Identify cultural needs and utilize this assessment to create an atmosphere where the student will benefit from cultural events.
Social/Community Activities/Events
Social and community events and activities allows students to continue to be involved within the community.
Leisure Activities
Leisure activities such as movies, live shows, and local special events allows the student to continue to enrich their social aspect of their lives.
Intramural Program
The intramural program involves sports programs with other Job Corps that fosters a competitive spirit within the Job Corps system.
